Thank you for your kind comments about the fires. Here’s an update on the one that’s closest to us.
Bob Cat Fire is still only 3% contained and came within 500 ft of the Mt Wilson Observatory. The 1100 firefighters are doing incredible work by digging trenches by hand and with bulldozers, setting strategic backfires and dropping water from aircraft.
I sure hope you get the rain they're talking about - those fire fighters desperately need it! This is just beautiful - a lovely capture of the sweet flower
