Hawaii day 1: Smooth day! We were happily surprised at the ease of checking in and going through security at LAX. There were many extra workers assisting with the flow of the lines of people - all of them cheerful! Hawaii has Covid test requirements that need to be filed before you arrive, so there were long lines (similar to Customs when traveling to another country) that only took an extra 15 min. After picking up our rental car, we went grocery shopping, checked into our condo, cooked our dinner and went for a lovely walk on Waikiki beach!
