Winter farmland, near Valmeyer, IL. It was cold at lunch today, and I just didn't feel like walking. So I took a bit of a drive. This was right about where I turned around... Taken from the driver's seat of my car, but safely pulled to the shoulder.

@brillomick@joansmor@louannwarren@henrir@jenp Thanks all! This is Mississippi River bottomlands, maybe 20 miles south of the St. Louis Arich, "as the crow flies". This whole area is about 30' above the river level (looking at Google Earth). It runs between 2.5 to 5 miles between the river and the bluff through here.
