Drawbridge across the Illinois River at Harden Illinois. We had to wait for a barge to pass.

@lsquared I Googled Illinois River and the first one that was listed is a tributary of the Arkansas Rive, in Arkansas and Oklahoma! Then your Illinois River, a tributary of the Mississippi, is listed. I never knew rivers in different states could have the same name, amazing to me! This bridge reminds me of my son’s Erector Set! I love it!
