Masked Bandit

The Cedar Waxwings appeared a couple of days ago to challenge the robins for the holly berries. The longest lens I own is a 200mm and they are very skittish. I am hoping to get a better shot tomorrow. As soon as the berries are gone they will continue on south.

lovely shot. nice bokeh in the background. viewed large you can see all the detail in the feathers. He looks a bit 'superhero-ish' with that mask :)

@stephw @daisy Thanks Stephanie and Kathryn. I was hoping to get some more shots today but didn't see a single waxwing all day. Hope they haven't left already.
