Animals and birds have a better chance of survival when they blend into their surroundings, but I have never really given much thought to why most of the pigeons in the city are the coloured cement grey.
This is a freeway underpass that has a really large resident pigeon colony. The horrid smell was much worse than the dump, and you guessed it - I left with pigeon poop in my hair. :(
I thought I would try some cross processing, even though it was the monochrome nature of the shot that appealed to me.
