@danielwsc he was only 18 inches high, & looked very young, but was not with his mother at all. I had to sit in the mud (!!) to get this view point. I would have to assume he is one of the local common ACT roos, but I agree the colouring is unusual - perhaps it is also some red mud around the mouth area? I was using silent mode continuous shoot & took about 30 frames & was just lucky with the lighting & expression in this one. I was only about 10 feet away & he was not scared at all.
OH wow!! It's always so great to see animals that aren't native to your own country photographed so beautifully, and from a different pov! Great shot! FAV back to you!!
