secular reverance by ltodd

secular reverance

This 15th century building was designed to showcase the benefits of eternal life and prosperity as being just rewards for ethical behaviour by the merchants of the town. Unusually, it is totally secular building in a renaissance Gothic style.

Excellent as always, looks like a fabulous building

Magnificent! The floor is completely Escheresque. How I wish our current day corporations had some incentive towards ethical behavior.

So much history in comparison to our little colonial country. It hard to imagine a building of this age still standing, let alone lookig so beautiful.
