As soon as I saw the image for the What Would You Do Challenge ( http://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/29356/new-wwyd153 ) I could see an uprising from the 'sand people'. A great starting shot that seems to have endless possibilities, so if you are interested in editing, give it a go....
@yorkshirekiwi I have definitely retired from entering WWYD challenges Carole, but I loved your choice of starting image & thought I would post so you could see how I imagined it could be used.
This is amazing!!! Why have you retired from the WWYD challenges? You do such great work. I was going to do something for that challenge - I rather like them, but damn, mine wouldn't look as good as yours haha. I'm such a huge fan of your work.
You definitely have mad skills and great creative talent and imagination. You should enter every now and then just to keep the rest of us on our toes! This is magnificent
@not_left_handed@grammyn thanks very much for your lovely comments ladies - I entered WWYD for many years, but now I am happy to mentor & assist others to enjoy editing. I like the personal 'challenge' though, and I have learnt so much when 'pushed' to do an edit using an image that I would not have thought of using.
A stunning Fav!!! From the start I've been astounded at your skills, and this is a reminder of why I followed you! I love the variety of skills pulled from different arenas that so many have to offer... You amaze and amaze again!
@Weezilou oh thankyou so very much Louise. The dark recesses of my mind & imagination are a mystery even to me sometimes. I am not sure the rest of the 365 community 'approve' of this type of image, but I really enjoy expressing myself this way every now & then. I find PS quite soothing when not under pressure & I can let my mind wander.
@ltodd "365" certainly doesn't share a unified voice, and while a small few might think you ought to have every item from your personal files, the bulk of us like to be entertained by what we see! I live in the land of Hollywood, so I'm impressed with someone "sets the stage" and you do it oh so well!!!
@Weezilou I am keywording my LR files thesedays & use more & more of my own textures & backgrounds - which is easy enough for edits like the waterbuck shot ( which has 4 of my shots blended in it) but objects needed for fantasy work I don't have on hand....and it's not going to work for the photographic purists ( but then they don't follow me anyway!! .....)
I can see it looks like I really put my foot in it, but I didn't even see that coming! Laugh it off...TOTALLY not meant to read as it did! My bad!
