This entrance in the old Tokyo station building was a great place for people watching, and a 1.5 second hand-held shot! The city where I live has far fewer people and no metro or rail system, so navigating the Tokyo rail system in peak hour is always a stressful blur and sensory overload.
Lyn, there was a time I did a lot of business in Japan and many trips to Tokyo and to the train station. This was in the late 1990s up to 2005. At that time it was estimated 750,000 to 1,000,000 people went through the Tokyo train station daily. It is massive and if you're not careful you can get pushed along and into the wrong train or platform. Amazing place for sure!
Motion well caught, but the color surprised me it was Tokyo since for me, it's also color overload with all the passerby. Isn't Tokyo Station beautiful on the exterior?
@jyokota I really liked the stylish soft lemon & white of this part of the old part of the station, and 'everyone' I saw seemed to be wearing a black suit ....and have black hair ( hence my colour tones here!). I took some nice ones of the exterior ( I am also still to post! LOL life gets in the way of 365 posting so often...)
