Wild flowers after the fire....... by ludwigsdiana

Wild flowers after the fire.......

as one can see, there are still some remains of the Flora burnt in last years fire. Some of the new ones are so small and difficult to photograph. The wind was also howling on the mountain. The first two pics are of a dam called Theewaterskloof, which is a main water supply for Cape Town. As you can see it is almost dried out and only has 17% drinking water left. A tragedy of note. We are still praying for rain as Summer is on the way, which means more fires!
Always good to see regeneration after bush fires. We need lots of rain too. I guess we are in for a hot dry summer.
