@onewing @vernabeth that is where they claw there way inside, to the left or right, there is a large oval shaped part where they stay. This way they are protected from wind and rain.
@kchuk the nests are seldom reused Elyse as they are in bad shape after one year. Some might try to repair them though ;-)
