Once again apologies for my lack of commenting. The power finally came on at midnight last night! That left us without power for 45 hours! I drove around in circles yesterday to charge my cell!
Apparently they have now replaced the copper cables with aluminium, hoping it does not get stolen too.
Glad to hear that your power has been restored. We have had a couple of power failures like yours in the last few years. It's not a very pleasant experience at all.
Ooooh, I thought this was some china decoration not a real frog! Very frustrating to have no electricity for that long. Yesterday we ceebrated my daughter's birthday at her house and bought take-away Chinese food which was delicious. As soon as we had the first bite, the power went off. My son and I rushed to our two homes to get provisional lighting and when we were settled down again, the light came back so everything went well in the end. And, by the way, we had a great time.
FAV. What a cute little frog! Where does he live that would cause him to be this color? I’m so glad your power is back on and I’m sorry it took so long. It must be a struggle.
