This is where they live.

They are all over the show, some high up and some low down. This is only a small area that I zoomed in to. The dam has run dry, but it does not seem to bother them. In the middle a Weaver decided that he wants to live there too. Maybe now you can see how tricky it is to get a good shot of the Red Bishops. They just flit around all the time and seldom sit still.

These are like our red wing blackbirds only way more vibrant. They live on similar grasses and the males get a bright red edge on their wings during breeding season.

@jacqbb Only the red bishops Jacqueline, the weavers normally all hang in trees. I have never seen a weaver nest in here before ;-)
