A Nicobar Pigeon at Birds of Eden.

Apparently this pigeon has a gizzard stone to grind hard food items. It is later used in jewellery.
She has a lovely cape on ... but it really is time for a pedicure..

now following you, I'm stunned at all your bird photos!! We saw a lot of birds in South Africa but were only there for 2 1/2 weeks. Seeing all these every day, just wow.
