Rainbow gums

at Idiom wine estate. We were there for lunch yesterday and the colour has all drained out by now. They are all just whitish and light khaki. I was not aware that the colour is seasonal.

oh so interesting to see these! A friend of mine imported some and has planted them, I don't know if they have survived this summer drought, I must check - those colours are impressive! I am guessing that like many gums they will shed and the colours will then be vivid for some time.
