has also gone through the eclipse. So amazing how the plumage simply changes colour. I often wonder if it falls out and new ones grow, maybe I should just google it.
i have shots of hummingbirds changing similarly. May I ask what program you used to achieve your collage? And did you know that the birds change their color by the physics of light refraction, as opposed to change in pigmentation. There is an interesting video about it, if you cared to google it. Anyway, lovely photos, separately and together. Fav
@mbrutus I used Befunky as they have some neat options. I very often use Photostatic collage which is also great.Thanks for the tip about the video, it sounds interesting and I will definitely look into it :) @jgpittenger I have no idea Jane. Some are through pretty quickly and others take months. I suppose some also start much earlier than others. These are the first ones, whereas the some of the Malachites are not even half way through yet. I will check the video that @mbrutus recommended, maybe I will be wiser then :)
