I went to a restaurant up in the mountains 2 days ago and was horrified to see the damage and destruction caused by the runnaway fires!

I always lament fires in our national parks, but everyone insists they are important for the landscapes. I see green in your photo, so hopeful all will be well there.

@koalagardens @catsmeowb @louannwarren @laurieewilson Thanks for the kind comments. Our fynbos has to burn regularly for the seeds to pop and germinate. In a year or 2, it will be pretty much back to normal.
