What a pretty flower. We lost our power in a storm last night but certainy not for 17 hours. I thought of you when the lights went out and wondered how you were fairing?

...17 hours without power is far too long.

17 hours is unbelievable

This is a new plant for me, it’s lovely. Your power situation is unbelievable and I know unbearable.

What a dreadful situation. No power for two and a half hours a couple of times a day sounded pretty grim, but 17 hours is shocking !

Beautiful ground cover. I'm so glad you finally have power.

And you still managed a photo. The ground cover is really nice and you caught great detail. I hope your power situation improves soon.

Great shot. What a pain for the power to be off that long.

@ubobohobo Thanks so much Margaret, the normal seven and a half spread over the day is ok, as they give us the times. The 17 hours was due to cable theft! We live in a first world and third world country :-(

Oh, we have trains not running all over the place because we have so much cable theft, last overground journey into London was delayed by 4 hours (and I missed my connection home)

A very pretty flower, beautifully captured.
