in Stellenbosch. It is is a very pretty open square surrounded by other venues and boutiques. We normally eat very early, so that is the reason it seems quite empty. I was considering removing the chalk board on the left, but could not be bothered.
Genki! What a fun concept for a restaurant name. Your outdoor dining scene makes me wide-eyed with wonder. I haven't gone to any place to eat in a year now. Nice that the colors worked out so well coordinated even to the lids of the shoyu bottles.
Looking at this picture gives me such a vacation feeling. what a beautiful place to eat at. I can see how you questioned to take out the board. I really don’t know but to me it gives a sense of a real friendly place and wonder what the specials are now LOL
@kwiksilver It's been there for at least 14 years Gillian. The Japanese owner sold it to a SA couple a few years ago. They seemed to have invested and enlarged the place. Well worth a visit :-)
