Little Girl in a Big World! by luvmynynix

Little Girl in a Big World!

The snow has melted enough that the 10 or so inches that are left have pretty much melted down into an icepack. It started out really cold today and that was in our favor. We were able to get in some sleigh riding as well as a walk through the woods...never sinking in more than about an inch! It was great fun! BUT...I don't want to be around when all this really melts for good...the mud is going to make for quite a messy nature trail!

For now we will just enjoy what we have!

Great capture. We had a similar conversation the other day, wondering if our yard was still going to be a muddy mess when it came time for us to move in June.

What a lovely capture, she sure looks little compared to those big tree's! I've never actually though about the muddy mess that would be left behind after the snow melts! All the best for when it melts! :)

I am thinking the melting has been slow enough that it sholdn't cause too many problems, but then we are not finished yet I assume

Yes you are very versatile as a photographer. Love this shot and I hate to say it but I love your snow. Our snow is mud this year!!

@lucypics Thank you so much!! LOL That's OK I don't mind the snow...it has just been challenging this year...half the time it was up to A's armpits and difficult to walk or play in! She thought it was quite fun to walk on top of it this time around!! :) Mud is no fun!!! I will be wiping MANY paws around the clock come spring time!! :)

Sweet shot ...and love the lines of the trees and that endless snow!! Enjoy it!

Cute sense of scale here! They are expecting flooding here when the snow melts because the frost went so deep too. Eeek.
March 4th, 2014
I guess I shouldn't complain. At least we did have some grass visible for awhile!
March 4th, 2014
