A veritable garden on a branch***

Our poor old weeping flowering cherry tree is nearly 30 years old and has managed to survive neglect whilst we lived interstate for 10 years and rented out the house, a renovation next door during which time it had its roots cropped, the planting growth and recent removal of 5 manchurian pears all planted within about 12 feet of it. It remains there somewhat diminished with old age and suffering splits from sunburn and the effects of a protracted drought and now it harbours new life... a veritable garden on a branch. Still I do not have the heart to pull it out because it has been a feature in my garden since the day I first planted anything and in spring I have no doubt it will still manage to produce enough flowers to put a smile on my face as it has every year for nearly 30 years.
Great focus

Lovely pov and focus, it has lasted through a lot, I will look forward to see it in spring, this is a significant part of your life at this house, we have a weeping mulberry and I couldn't bear to lose that!
