A fellow photog and I took the opportunity yesterday afternoon to go out to Airfield Falls in Fort Worth to see how the water was flowing after all the rain we have had. We had probably only been there about 5 minutes and people started showing up, kids playing in the water, adults walking across the top and stopping to get cell phone pics...anyway, you get the picture.
My friend spotted a snake in the water but he quickly moved out of sight before either of us could snap a photo. Seeing the snake, I definite would not be playing in that water.
For my local DFW friends that have never been to Airfield Falls, this is Tarrant County's largest natural water fall. It is part of the Trinity Trail system and you often see runner, bikers, and walkers on the trail.

@onewing As we walked around the falls over rocks and mud, we did think about a snake slithering around us....luckily, we didn't see anymore. For the record, I would have freaked out.
