@my_photofun I have no idea if it was the male or female doing the scolding... but it happened twice while I was there. It didn't seem funny when I heard that squawking, but I laughed when I saw the picture!
What timing with the shutter button!! Interesting to note as well — all the other ducks appear to be looking away, almost as if they're embarrassed by the scolding that's taking place.
Oh my goodness, this is one of the best shots I've seen. One would think you composed their positions it's so perfect. The focus on the two fussing, and the colors of the mallards - just love it!
Incredible picture. I would be great picture even without the funny gesture - the colours, focus, compositions are great - but WITH it it is just - just great!!! Fav!
