this is fantastic Lynn!! I had a few pictures in the photography solon at the fair, too, this year. this competition is so unbelievably competitive. the photos are always outstanding. yours included!! heading there again on Thursday too take it all in. big fav.
@mchartwig Oh Celi! I had no idea you were from Iowa! A huge Congratulatiions to you!! I saw your Violets in the book. BEST of Color, how awesome! This was a whole new experience for me and I didn't think I knew any of the photographers. Now I know you & can look for all of your pictures at the fair. Again, CONGRATS!!!
Thanks Lynn!! Truth be told, since you only get to enter 4 photos, I wasn't even sure if I wanted to enter the violets. My husband and daughter persuaded me. I was shocked to have won. Otherwise my fourth would have been a photo of Lake Macbride on a foggy morning. Who knew? Your photo truly is a STUNNING capture of our beautiful Iowa farmland. Simply gorgeous. You should enter it in the silos and smoke stacks competition! I think you've got a winner. Congratulations on your fair entry!!
