We had blue skies today but bitter cold temperatures. Tomorrow is going to be worse. I think every school in Iowa is closed tomorrow and the post office is not delivering mail. I've never known that to happen before. There is a lot of concern about getting the homeless people into shelters for tonight. The newscaster said many won't go because they can't take their dogs. Some animal shelters are offering to keep their dogs for the night but I don't know how the people will know that.
Beautiful sky...love the little icicles......hope the authorities managed to scoop up all the homeless folk and their dogs........such a difficult time of year for them......we also have homeless folk on our streets, but we don't have quite such bitter temperatures as you do......
I've heard that many homeless people have died, it's just so tragic.
