@juliehill Julie, I often get lazy and just hope for the best! So, no tripod on this one. . .but my lens is really fast and I have mastered the art of holding my breath. ;-> It's always AWFUL if I'm hungry or shaky for some other reason, though!
@maggiemae Thanks for your comment! I know exactly what you mean - although I am trying very slowly to WEAN myself from depending on the overwhelming number of shots to cure focus problems! I hadn't a clue how much time would be involved in just culling through what would be worth keeping! Sigh. . .there's always a compromise, I guess!
Great shot Lyn! I love these flowers to begin with but usually people shoot them when the coloring is on the pink side- so this is nice because it's different in coloring. The detail is great- not bad for hand-held!
