I walked with my father around their building today and this butterfly appeared out of nowhere but I had no camera. Later in the day, I had a break when the hospice nurse was with my mother and I went right back hoping to find him again . . .with camera in hand. I had just about given up hope when he appeared again. . . a real blessing in a day that held few.
Thank you all again for commenting and viewing - I know that you all understand that it's hard for me to find the time right now to write about all of your wonderful shots. . .but I'll catch up!
What a lovely bright moment captured perfectly once again. It sounds like you have a lot going on, I hope you keep finding such bright moments each day.
My mother had Parkinsons and it was heart breaking watching her pull back from life within her mind! I know how you feel and extend my sympathies to you and your family! Butterflies are free!
Obviously you are blessed. I hope that helps ease the moments which feel as though obviously you are not being blessed! I appreciate the gift in this beautiful shot... thank you for sharing despite the trying time.
A fleeting moment to be enjoyed in an otherwise emotional and worrying day I think? Thoughts and prayers are with you, hospices are wonderful and caring places, but by their very nature they are sad places too.
Aww Lyn, I know this is a tough time for you. I think he was sent to be a bright spot in your day. :) Keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.
FAV! Butterflies have a way of appearing suddenly during difficult times as though as a message from God. So happy you were able to capture this gorgeous shot....truly lovely!
This reminds me of a song from a TV programme... it went something like 'love is like a butterfly, soft and gentle as a sigh'...so glad to think you got a gentle smile today from this lovely chap :)
Quite poignant for the butterfly to bring you a moment of beauty...I've always thought they come from the loving souls the travel with us. Fav for me. Gorgeous
I also think he was sent back to make you smile.
Praying for you and yours.
