On the way home, we stopped in Asheville, NC and hiked off the Blue Ridge Parkway - although the weather was not clear, we had glorious moments when the fog would blow clear a bit. . .

Beautiful shot, Lynn. This is one of my favorite places of all. I remember when I took my daughter to NYC for her 16th birthday in the 80s and we drove back the scenic route through the Blue Ride Pkwy.
