Here's the sweet couple I met hand in hand by Hoan Kiem Lake (I had my camera in one hand and they were obviously willing to be photographed... I jumped on the occasion).
I think they both embodied very well the youth culture.
Teenagers in Vietnam are deeply influenced by South Corean Pop singers and movie stars.
Just looking at them, one can easily notice the South Corean influence in:
_ their clothes of hip hop inspiration
_ their hair dyed
_ and their haircuts (directly inspired by mangas)
And the Vietnamese part in all this? Romanticism!
The Vietnamese romanticism is really cute and even sometimes extremely mushy.
