Blackie loves the snow and will bury his head occasionally.
He's just coming around from 3 weeks of mystery illness. He is more cat than dog, and certainly has 9 lives. We also feel he has relatives in the goat family considering some of the things he has eaten.
@timandelke@jonna@revjoel@kellyhaysley@ladydi@artsy@wac@wjw1741@glyn@emer@kerristephens@kerristephens@indiannie_jones Thanks for the kind words and well wishes. He was good today. We walked small distances twice. He still loves to get out and walk in the snow. @cookie123 When he was a puppy, most of his head was black. The coloring on him has changed so much in 13 years. @lovesscrapn Then you understand how it is to have a dog who acts like a cat/goat. @clarissajohal The goat dogs are challenging. He has eaten everything from wire, plaster, rocks, wood, books, shoes, sock and all plant life. I'm amazed he has lasted this long.
@maggie2 I remember doing surgery on one dog that ate a condom--the owner was pretty mortified when we showed her! I'm sure he keeps you in vet bills, lol
@clarissajohal LOL Well he hasn't done that yet.My vet lectured me about him eating rocks. I assured her I cleared the yard of every rock I could find, but they keep growing back.
Thank you for you kind comment. Our weather is also bad for that
and when I having the blues I take a summer pic to remaind me and cheer up.
You realy do have a nice and photogenic dog
@thepoochlover Karen, we think he is a husky, shepherd mix. He was dumped off on the road 13 years ago and we found him. Thanks for your kind words. @cindy Thanks cindy. @terryd2011 Thank you Terry.
