One day old.

This baby was born January 7. I was thrilled to get a chance to see it so young. The mother had her hands full keeping everyone else away. They didn't seem to want to hurt the baby, but I think they all wanted to hold it. Like we all do with new babies. :-) She would gently, but firmly slap anyone that tried to take it.
