Miranda (Marinade Spatula) has taken some amazing swan pictures. I have been so inspired by these shots that I had to track down a swan.
My pictures don't compare to hers, but this is for her. Miranda is leaving and I hope she sees this before she goes.
This is beautiful and you are so thoughtful. Isn't it amazing how people can feel like friends, even if you never met? That feeling is a new experience. I hope she sees this too. As always, this is wonderful!
Beautiful shot! Miranda has been an inspiration to many of us and I hope she can find her way back to us. Your photos of animals continue to inspire and amaze me as well!
I am favving it because I think there is something very delicate and vulnerable about this swan in its' expression and the light and dancing bokeh. Love the constrast of the leaves. I think it is really stunning and I am so touched that you have honoured me in this very thoughtful , kind and frankly, very artistic way. xxxx
OK - a lovely neighbour/friend bought me a frame for my birthday in which to put one of my swan pictures. If you will allow me to buy a copy of this and let me know how much it will be via www.quincecottage-boa.com contacts, then I would rather have this swan!! That is both because is VERY beautiful and because it would be a most lovely souvenir of my time on 365. Don't worry if you don't want to sell it, but if you do, go get in touch.
You are a fab person. Lovely photo of this beautiful swan and even lovelier sentiment. I like her preening and the way she is rustling her feathers. Well done. Thx so much for the fav.
The black beak in the white feathers makes a great contrast..great picture...if this is your first try I hate to the them with more practise..I would be ahamed of my pictures.
