Wolf has chosen underneath the steps as his bedroom. He puts his big head through the stairs and falls asleep. He gets his head stuck on a regular basis, panics, then just gives up and lays there with the saddest look that he is stuck there for life. I have to go to him and turn his head on the side and he's free. I'm such a hero, and he's such a pumpkin head.
AAAWW, got a massive smile on my face from reading this - not from delighting in poor Wolf's misery but the lengths dogs will go to to be comfortable ;) our dog will lie herself across the bottom step of the stairs til she starts slipping off in her sleep :)
That is so doggone cute! I love him . . is he just seeking attention and extra love, you think? lol What a great photo to remind us how much we love our pets and their amazing antics. :)
Aw sooo cute :) Dogs are bizarre, not matter how many times Jess lies upside down on the settee then swivels & falls off, she still does it, over & over again :)
That is so adorable, and funny that he'd keep going back and getting in the same shape! Thank goodness he's got you to save the day! I really love the trunks in the photo -- your home looks very warm and welcoming!
What a fabulous shot, my daughters little dog will go into the pantry when someone opens it and they don'y see her go in and she will just sleep in there until she wants to come out ,then you hear the barking.
Awesome shot and funny story. Our Ginger sleeps on the stairs because from that spot she can see out the side panes of the front door. Makes it a little challenging for the rest of us who are going up and down the stairs!
So, you aren't ever real mean and like, bring out a creepy big snowman when he's stuck?? LOL! He's an absolute darling and your house is GORGEOUS!! A log cabin in the mountains is my dream home...full of crusty old trunks just like those ones!
Such a sweet shot, so funny but maybe a way of getting attention:0) He just knows you are gona come and rescue him and no doubt he gets a little cuddle too:0) :0)
@tabbycat LOL I wouldn't do that to my big baby.
I don't live in the mountains...but I do live in a log cabin. We bought the land and cut the trees down and built the cabin. Didn't have a clue how to do it, but it worked. The trunks are the ones that came over from Scotland when we moved here years ago.
Poor, silly Wolf! My Siberian Husky used to crawl under the deck and then would get stuck. I had to unscrew the planks a few times to get her out. Beautiful home, Maggie!
