Not again. by maggie2

Not again.

Wolf has chosen underneath the steps as his bedroom. He puts his big head through the stairs and falls asleep. He gets his head stuck on a regular basis, panics, then just gives up and lays there with the saddest look that he is stuck there for life. I have to go to him and turn his head on the side and he's free. I'm such a hero, and he's such a pumpkin head.
How funny, and cute in the same time! I can imagine how panicked he is when he's stuck!

Very cosy home decoration, btw :-)

AAAWW, got a massive smile on my face from reading this - not from delighting in poor Wolf's misery but the lengths dogs will go to to be comfortable ;) our dog will lie herself across the bottom step of the stairs til she starts slipping off in her sleep :)

Silly puppy dog. Thankfully your are there to rescue him. I hope he doesn't do it when you're not home.
December 27th, 2011

You need Cesar Milan to teach him how not to get stuck....heeee!
December 27th, 2011
That is so doggone cute! I love him . . is he just seeking attention and extra love, you think? lol What a great photo to remind us how much we love our pets and their amazing antics. :)
December 27th, 2011
Aaww. I am sure Wolf appreciates your efforts. Cute story.
December 27th, 2011
How cute! We all feel at home in our own special place! Just hope he can learn to get himself free. :-)
December 27th, 2011
Aw sooo cute :) Dogs are bizarre, not matter how many times Jess lies upside down on the settee then swivels & falls off, she still does it, over & over again :)
December 27th, 2011
By the way, amazing place you've got :)
December 27th, 2011
How funny. Hopefully he will learn one day that he will get caught. Poor wolf.

Hope he never gets stuck when you are not around. Adorable!
December 27th, 2011
Love it .
December 27th, 2011
This is so funny. You'd think he'd learn but maybe he just likes being rescued. I love the natural look of this room.
December 27th, 2011
That's a special spot Wolf has! Nice capture and glad you saved him, again :-) !
December 27th, 2011

Poor Wolf! A pumpkin head maybe, but an adorable one!
December 27th, 2011
Haha - so much like my cat Steve. He gets himself stuck on a regular basis too. Do they ever learn? ;-)
December 27th, 2011
very cute looks comfy though
December 27th, 2011
That is so adorable, and funny that he'd keep going back and getting in the same shape! Thank goodness he's got you to save the day! I really love the trunks in the photo -- your home looks very warm and welcoming!
December 27th, 2011
Awww that is so cute!!
December 27th, 2011
Funny! Leah says I am either a slow learner or quick forgetter! Could be his problem also!
December 27th, 2011
Awww ^^
December 27th, 2011
Poor thing! You'd think he'd learn after the first time!
December 27th, 2011
He lives up to his name then!
December 27th, 2011
What a fabulous shot, my daughters little dog will go into the pantry when someone opens it and they don'y see her go in and she will just sleep in there until she wants to come out ,then you hear the barking.
December 27th, 2011
I'm laughing--not AT your dog, of course, but with him. You have a beautiful house (what I see there!)
December 27th, 2011
Aw, bless him!
December 27th, 2011
What a beautiful silly dog! He is lucky he has you to rescue his beautiful self. I love the coziness of your photo!
December 27th, 2011
Awwww... The poor thing.
December 27th, 2011
Nice spot
December 28th, 2011
Awesome shot and funny story. Our Ginger sleeps on the stairs because from that spot she can see out the side panes of the front door. Makes it a little challenging for the rest of us who are going up and down the stairs!
December 28th, 2011
LOL that is just so funny - I'm not sure which is funnist the picture or your commentry!! Dogs are such numnuts at times!!
December 28th, 2011
@chackmann Thank you. Those are the trunks that we packed our belongings in when we immigrated to the States from Scotland years and years ago.
December 28th, 2011
@http365proj Shirley, I have a foolish cat that keeps getting locked in the closet. She has learned how to push open the door.
December 28th, 2011
@gene Gene....I love that saying.
December 28th, 2011
@russianblue Kass....not so far. :-)
December 28th, 2011
@swrws Susan, I block it off so he can't get stuck if I'm not there.
December 28th, 2011
@pixels4u He does climb the stairs, but not often.
December 28th, 2011
@mittens Marilyn, it's blocked off when I'm gone.
December 28th, 2011
Lol, that's actually pretty funny. I love your staircase!
December 28th, 2011
Your room look sgreat, and the poor pup. Somnething tells me comfort is more important than avoiding the frustration and panic.
December 28th, 2011
awe, so cute! sounds like a great companion!
December 28th, 2011
Very cute. Love dogs.
December 28th, 2011
As long as does it over and over again...he can't be too frightened when he gets stuck once inawhil. Gorgeous dog.
December 28th, 2011
I don't know whether to laugh or to worry! Poor Wolf. But it's a funny predicament too. Heh. That spot actually looks pretty cosy!

December 28th, 2011
So, you aren't ever real mean and like, bring out a creepy big snowman when he's stuck?? LOL! He's an absolute darling and your house is GORGEOUS!! A log cabin in the mountains is my dream home...full of crusty old trunks just like those ones!
December 28th, 2011
LOL - so very cute, what a sweetheart!
December 28th, 2011
ha that's funny, looks like a good spot to rest though
December 28th, 2011
Hehe! Your poor doggy, but that is so funny!
December 28th, 2011
oh lol that is just gorgeous!!
December 28th, 2011
Such a sweet shot, so funny but maybe a way of getting attention:0) He just knows you are gona come and rescue him and no doubt he gets a little cuddle too:0) :0)
December 28th, 2011
@tabbycat LOL I wouldn't do that to my big baby.
I don't live in the mountains...but I do live in a log cabin. We bought the land and cut the trees down and built the cabin. Didn't have a clue how to do it, but it worked. The trunks are the ones that came over from Scotland when we moved here years ago.
December 28th, 2011
hehe.......that's hilarious. poor wolf! good thing he has a good mom who comes to his rescue!!
December 28th, 2011
This is so adorable! :-)
December 28th, 2011

December 29th, 2011
I love this, wish I was there.
December 31st, 2011
Poor, silly Wolf! My Siberian Husky used to crawl under the deck and then would get stuck. I had to unscrew the planks a few times to get her out. Beautiful home, Maggie!
