Book Club afternoon tea

Held at the home of a farmer's wife there were the sandwiches with cream cheese, ham and tomato, a rhubarb and yoghurt cake with cream, and slices of an apricot roll. Not to mention the fragrant coffee and tea! Is it no wonder we enjoy our one day a month in each member's home!

Oh so lovely, and I love the way your book club operates! Honestly, I am an avid reader and devour two to three books a day, but I've never found a book club that works for me because the selections are never anything I want to read. Your book club sounds wonderful.

We all spend about ten mins each describing our books we have read. Everyone makes a note of the one they fancy to try to borrow/buy. But there is a pile of books put into the "kitty" to choose.
