Morning rounds

I wanted to get a picture of our lovely white clematis while it is out and what could be nicer than to discover this great big bumble bee, nose in, with his beautiful wings! Gorgeous viewed large!

Latest on the Journal: Mum has travelled to London from Tilbury Docks, stayed a week and seen heaps! She's been to a Club, the name of which looks like Rockhampten, where she watched polo with great delight. Another highlight was the Hendon Air Show where " "The Prince' was there and the King of Spain, the Prime Minister and ever so many Lords"! They purchased a 1928 Morris Oxford for ₤65 - an open tourer and set off for Cambridge!

What a beautiful photo of this bee. Love the colors of its wings. Your mom sounds like she was having a wonderful time at such a young age. So glad you are typing and keeping us up on what she did. Sorry I am behind but catching up with you now.
