This is the Auckland Harbour Bridge viewed through the ubiquitous pohutukawa trees! On my right is a fabulous wedding reception building - no, no weddings in the future! There is a small jetty where people can take a ferry across to the opposite shore where Auckland City hums!
The tree has wonderful scarlet blossoms in early summer - if really early, it signifies a long hot summer. I wasn't here then so couldn't make the connection.
The clarity of the bridge improves with the enlarge function.
I can't really agree that the Harbour Bridge is cool as I travel over it twice a day. I can say that your composition has given it a little more character. Great effort.
All the Pohutukawa trees where in full blossom when we were there, so beautiful & of course you are having a long hot summer!! We have been on the little ferry to Davenport.
