We have just had this thunderstorm and the lightening struck seemingly right beside me, the thunder was instant and so loud, I'm still shaking!
Three good things:
1. I took this photo just before I arrived home and missed the hail!
2. I get so excited by thunderstorms, I can hardly breathe!
3. Had a great ukelele workshop today.
that is a storm, alright! how big are the hails? we're waiting for snow around here! (i have to duck or the Canadians will stone me to death for thinking of the 's' word. tee-hee!) wonderful shot, maggiemae.
@pamknowler thanks, Pam! We have been issued with all sorts of instructions at this time - what not to do! One thing - do not stand next to a cow sheltering on an electric fence line!
a very impressive looking storm cloud! glad to hear you missed the hail and weren't actually struck by lightning. That can be so scary. We had a strike just outside our house about 20 years ago - did a lot of damage to electrical equipment.
Had to laugh at the advice to stay away from cows near an electric fence....I would think the last place you would pick, although come to think of it my sons might do just that if caught while out in the fields!! You snow covered mountains look amazing! Harry & I were watching 2012 Country Calender DVD last night....Harry gets them as presents from our sons....we really enjoy them.
Wow! Fav on this baby :-) Love how those mean dark clouds are framing the mountains. I do not like thunder or lightning....scares the bejebes out of me.
@yonnie thanks Yvonne- I hang out the window in thunderstorms! The excite me! I think I'm electrically charged - I get a shock touching the car door all the time!
agreed with northy. love the murky tones! very dramatic and gotta love a storm. glad you made it out before the hail and ukelele workshop? my aren't you talented!
Wow! This doesn't need any words. It's gorgeous! Thank you for your following me! Sorry I haven't posted in a few days... Ann ran me ragged on Wednesday!! I have been in recovery.
I wish I enjoyed thunderstorms! Glad you enjoyed your ukelele workshop.
