Fireworks exploded over our area to celebrate Guy Fawkes. A bit early but it was the weekend and most people could come as it was a complete show. John's Lion's Group manned a hot dog and chips caravan and I was one of the servers which was backbreaking but fun.
I chose this particular shot for the bokeh - I'm always trying.
Three good things
1. The Lions sold tons and made lots of money.
2. I had a hot dog and beautiful chips.
3. I love avocados!
Lovely bokeh!! I am dreading fireworks over the next few nights as Finlay has already started to have a nervous breakdown!! He hates them with a passion and this evening when there were just a few bangs outside he started running round and barking for about an hour!! I would really love to have a go at taking some pics but I just can't leave him. I will have to indulge myself by looking at all your shots!!
Lovely to hear you celebrate Guy Fawkes too maggie...sounds like lots of fun & your firework photo is rather spectacular...not easy to get a good fire work picture.
