Bought at the Farmers Market for $5 which is extremely good for perfect peppers. Much better than trying to grow them yourself!
Three good things:
1. Colour is the best in nutritional value
2. Bought beetroot here too and boy, that has colour - all over my clothes and fingers!
3. Bought a vacuum sealer to do my sous vide cooking.
Oh that gets my mouth watering. I love crisp, bright veg like these peppers. As for the beetroot.... ugh - I don't like them, but they are hubby's favourite. They're way too messy for my liking.
perfect setup for these almost perfect peppers. the varied colours are so engaging. partner cooked some beets on monday night and i've been having them for snack at the office. i love beets!
The colour just shouts at you here maggiemae........you can just tell from looking at the peppers they are good for you! That purple one is a jewel!
How did we manage before we had peppers....must have had very boring looking salads .....good roasted too!
