of our room at the hotel. I am typing this on my new macbook air and it is so much faster than the iPad. I am not going to jump off this tower as some people seem to want to do.
Three good things:
1. Family gradually arriving from all points
2. A wonderful meal at a Turkish restaurant.
3. John is signing 120 books for tonight and it almost finished.
Are you staying in the Sky hotel...we did one night & you could see them jumping off! You will love your mac air if it's quick......speed is everything isn't it? John will have writers cramp....one thing you can't help him do that! Have a fabulous meet up, will be so good just to all be together!
when you say people jumping off, is it like for recreation or fun (which is crazy to us sane people) or just wanting to end it all (which could be quite messy, methings). enjoy your macbook air and your reunion with the family.
Lovely reflection. Our daughter dived off the sky tower on her 18 birthday and screamed all the way down (good swimmer's lungs!) - foolish child had so much fun she went back and did it again!
I didn't realize the jump was for recreation until readiing some of the comments! Love the uniqueness of this shot that appears to be a double exposure and yet isn't!
Lovely shot with its beautiful reflection of the tower. Yes I too have watched those brave enough to jump. I found it hard enough to look down through the glass floor without stepping out over the edge to jump.
Great shot, Maggiemae! I love the reflection in the window. That is a gorgeous tower. It looks a bit like the Seattle Space Needle (which I've been up but clung to the wall the whole time!!). Such lovely lights. It's not cool that people jump. They should put up safe guards.
The tower reminds me of several here stateside- the most well-known being the one in Seattle. I think those silly people should just send their money to me. Cool shot!
