There wasn't as much snow on these mountains just to the west of Oamaru as there have been but still make a great scene coming over the hill from the town to our home.
Three good things:
1. A visit from my sister
2. The cat was happy in her cage after a visit to the vet for vaccinations
3. Wonderful stories to read every day from 365'ers!
Well that is a proper view maggiemae......real South Island mountains......the way you have made a separate photo of the reflection underneath is really adventurous. Must be a very welcome sight to come home to!
Thanks Pat @happypat ! For you fav particularly as I was amazed at what a bit of processing can do! Softened, sharpened colours, frame. It is lovely to see every time we come over the hill but the majority of time it is covered in cloud.
The top part of the shot is a stunning standalone photo as it is! New Zealand is such a beautiful place. Is this an actual reflection or added in as I can't tell from your processing. A clever edit.
@snaphappi John always calls me Maggiemae but I have been known as Meg or Marg. Depends on how I want to introduce myself - one time I introduced myself as Madge! Horrifying!
