The wider view

At the bottom of a drawer I found a lens which went with a camera about 25 years ago. My camera doesn't have a thread on its lens so I just held it in front of the lens for this photo. Its a wide angle lens and provided much more of the scene than normal. I just gave it an X-ray processing as well.

Three good things;
1. Our house looks great in this scene
2. Creating art with a new app - FX something - can't remember!
3. I will transfer this app to my MB Air shortly
Oh cool, what a neat effect you got here, lady. Awesome. And how fun to find a new or old lens!

This is a very unusual shot. I wonder what that lens is! Do you think it's an IR lens?

@shepherdmanswife It just says, "Bower 30 - 37" and Digital High Definition .45x wide angle lens with Macro! I don't know how to do the macro bit!

@maggiemae I'm no better off as I don't understand these things, but you should try taking some more photos with it as you do get an effective result whatever lens it is!

Well this is an exciting photo for you maggiemae! It works so well surprisingly.......bet you were pleased with it.. Can you get the lens to fit on by buying an adapter I wonder...I would take it to a camera shop & check.you house looks very good....is that a deck area round the side......would love one of those on my house! Fave!

@happypat Thanks for the fav, Pat!! Yes we have a deck that is covered by a semi transparent roof. When we turn the outside lights on in this area, it looks such a wonderful place to have a meal at the table. Trouble is, it is never warm enough to do this!
