A private and professional photograph session in this huge warehouse full of exhibition motorbikes. This was the one featured as Indian Motorbikes brought out their first model. It was made especially as a one-off and called, after Burt Murno (John's Dad), the Spirit of Munro. Can be seen in http://youtu.be/Ss3FpDy3bD4
Three good things:
1. I watched the photographer very carefully but he had flashlights positioned in different places and all sorts of equipment.
2. His photos were better than mine but he said if they weren't he would give up his profession.
3. We all sat round with a whisky afterwards working with our Apple computers.
@tremerryn@pamknowler@sarasdadandmom@eyesmile Thanks Ladies! In some way's its exciting but it happens a lot. Here in this warehouse, it was so hot and stuffy we were all sweating and drinking lots of water.
Wow maggiemae that video sends shivers down your spine...you & John must be completely overwhelmed! A wonderful time for you both & for John to sit on that tribute bike must be such a proud moment.
Would you have any objection to me sharing this on my FB page so my sons in NZ can watch it. Would that be allowed do you think? Great photo & one for the wall at home!
Maggie you are so funny! #2!!! That is one awesome motorcycle- although it looks more like a jet or one of those little motorized kiddie rides they put at the entrance of the supermarket sometimes.
@happypat absolutely no objections, Pat - if I make the decision to post it anywhere it is always with great thought! Great pride and sorrow at the same time - pride for Burt and what he has been recognised for and sorrow because my elderly sister died today - you might remember one posting about her!
Oh Maggiemae, I just read above about your sister. I'm so sorry. I was going to write that this must have been an amazing day, but that feels too weird. What an amazing experience, yet so mixed with sadness too today. Thoughts are with you.
@maggiemae oh maggiemae I am so sorry about your dear sister.....I know she was very ill but did think it hadn't turned out as bad as thought.....you will be feeling very far from home! Our deep sympathies to you all.
Thank you for letting me post your photo, I will just put it on the friends bit so it doesn't go all round the place. Our sons where so interested when I was talking about you & John......I know they will love to see your video & photo. Take care & try & keep enjoying your time away, I am sure your sister wouldn't want you to be sad......x
Great capture of this marvellous bike. Going through other comments I am sorry to read of the passing away of your sister. My condolences to you and to your family.
Love the story. So sorry to hear about your sister. Sending hugs and prayers to you. You staying on your trip or going home early. Love to you, Maggiemae.
Interesting info about this motobike and I like the shape of it. Fine photograph as well. I don't think your photos are worser than that of a profi you've mentioned about.
