Sweet little silver-eye arrived at the bird table a bit late - the sparrows had been before!
Three good things;
1. Three young lads who had partied all night opposite us and were now fooling about on the side of the road - lying down, punching the air, shouting, were finally picked up!
2. Downloaded a music score that a 365 friend had based his shot on and its a sweet little piece to play. Peuple de Lumiere.
3. Crackers, cottage cheese and raw mushroom - so yummy but as J is away for a few days, my self discipline has gone out the window!
No wonder he looks grumpy or angry if the sparrows had eaten all the food before he arrived !! At least he is not spitting feathers !! Good capture Maggiemae
That zoom of yours is so accurate & sees all........I thought at first this was a pretend bird! It looked so clear & too good to be true but I am now convinced you have just taken an excellent close up of this too late come bird! I expect you popped out & gave it some more bird food! I would love to have a few days just eating to please myself!!
@happypat It was taken through a window too which has rain spots on it! Yes, toast for breakfast (not healthy with peanut butter) and a fruit smoothie for lunch instead of vegetables. Goodness knows what tea is going to be - probably chocolate!
Sounds great discipline out the window. I've a hankering to join you. Makes me think of the wonderful poem 'Purple' if you know it. I love the shot. He does look miffed and the delicacy of his legs and feet so clear. Fav
Such delicate feet and legs. He does look fed up with no food. Great shot.Enjoyable diet! Mine in Sorrento has been too much wine, limoncello and superb cakes. A aah!
