When he’s watching for a mouse in the long grass. I was about to leave our place and I spotted tho beautiful cat that I’d never seen before, sitting on a fence post! It is autumn and the fields around harbour mice who are looking for a warm home.
Three good things;
1. Hubby stuck in bed with a lung infection but hopefully will recover - in spite of the groans!
2. Made 4 jars of quince chutney -cost us little, picked some huge apples off a side road in the weekend, as well as the quince. The red pepper camera from my glass house but dates were not grown here - funny that!
3. Defects start from the weakest point - applies to so many conditions but my weakest point is my imagination - no defects have occurred there at the moment other than ‘wringing my hands”! lol!
Your no 1 made me giggle, currently husband has a cold.........not bad enough to keep him off the golf course, but wants loads of sympathy.........err NO! when he is too poorly for golf ....maybe LOL!
Wonderful perspective maggiemae.......a beautiful cat but you have given him superstar status! Poor John, he will be feeling pretty miserable & you will be ringing your hands even more! Hopefully doctor is keeping an eye on the patient...do you have home visits in NZ.......we dont tend to do over here unless you are almost dying! Perhaps the Nasters will keep John's mind if his infections....hope he feels better soon.
@happypat Thank you Pat - he may go to the doctor - no home visits here either. I do like things to get better without antibiotic though. Bed rest and I see the Masters is on from 10am. I will watch it but he's not a golf person.
A beautiful cat and a wonderful capture. -- she obviously is hoping for a mouse or insect in the long grass. I hope John feels better soon ! Three very good things there Magiemay --but you make me laugh at you wringing your hands !
You captured this beautiful cat well. she sure doesn't look like a stray.
lots of fluids and bed rest for John. we also try to avoid antibiotics if we can.
What a beautiful cat and a lovely capture! Hope John soon feels better! I am doing a bit of the hand wringing myself at the moment and not sure it helps much!
