Not real by maggiemae

Not real

This is a bit of a mystery to me - I put the camera on a posterise setting but then took three photos for an HDR! The sun was suddenly strong in the western sky and created shadows.
I’ve got the ‘bot’ and was going to take pics of what I could see from my bed but then got up to make pumpkin soup with ginger and garlic, plus leeks and onions. A great decision - now I’m back off to bed!

Three Good Things:
1. My man made the porridge this morning! A first! He could only retain the first few directions and kept coming back to get more.
2. Paracetamol works well in certain conditions
3. Stilly charts in the morning now!
I wish I knew why this sort of thing happens - this looks like the illustrator pre- setting. I am sure that our Sony's have gremlins! Mine keeps going onto the watercolour setting!
That said ..... I like this! it has something about it :)

@amandal I think it was a layering of different photos as I did try to get the top of the flower arrangement into the photo and thats cut off here!

The mind boggles maggiemae....the bot! What ever you stay in bed where it's warm & cosy. I knew this was yours as soon as I saw the top! I like your style making soup then getting back in bed......that is cool! That flower vase just glows!

@happypat Needless to say, I caught this bot off John. Coughing, sore throat, headaches, aching joints, you name it! However its not too bad. Just got to wait - and look at 365 - all good!

May 28th, 2015
Fascinating!
May 28th, 2015

@grammyn Thanks Katy - nice to read the words as I'm not into talking at all at the moment! Sore throat!
May 28th, 2015
Fantastic result from your "accidental" setting. I suspect a great deal of planning 8-)
May 28th, 2015
@tonydebont Thanks Tony - I was actually taking a bit of time to get to know what the camera can do - using the menu!
May 28th, 2015
@maggiemae What's that famous expression ?? "When in doubt, RTFM"
May 28th, 2015
@tonydebont Hey Tony -just read what that meant! I really must remember that! John's famous saying is "When in doubt, read the manual"!
May 28th, 2015
Very artistic creation!
May 28th, 2015
That looks really cool even though unintended.
May 28th, 2015
A very interesting result - is their no end to your creativity? The pumpy soup sounds delish.
May 28th, 2015
Very artistic and very creative. Well sone.
May 28th, 2015
Sounds like a "mistake" to remember. I have also hauled myself out of a sick bed on occasion to cook some decent food; the effort and results promote healing... Luckily I'm almost never sick.
May 28th, 2015
This is very creative Maggie. It's an amazing image with lots of interest in it. The question is can you do it again?!
May 28th, 2015
Fab shot, even if it was not what you meant to do. Hope you feel on the mend soon and now I have a new word to add to my vocabulary

Posterized HDR or HDR'd posterizing- either way the end result is very cool!
June 4th, 2015
Love your processing, this is a FAV for me.
June 8th, 2015
OK, so now (I think) I know what "a bot" is!! You guys talk funny.... ;-))) So sorry you are not feeling well, but hopefully it will go away soon....just stay in bed and weather it....and, that soup with the garlic from yesterday should do the trick!
