This was a coffee shop where we had good coffee , a huge date scone the size of a frying pan and a delicious cheese roll! This was not lunch.
Still got computer issues - type one letter and 4 secs later, the letter appears! Now all day trying various programmes! Done “Cleanmymac” and Tech Tool Pro. Think I’m going to load, “Cleanmyhouse” and see what happens!
1. Program says: 1billion 953 million 963 thousand blocks on the device! Now doing a surface scan! Doing a surface scan on my kitchen bench would reveal a few unwashed dishes!
2. “I was like’ - how many people talk like this? Good thing - I don’t!
3. Bought a luxurious rug to go on a high traffic part in our lounge/dining/kitchen. I feel like lying on it and going to sleep!
@gijsje Its thick and soft and the colour of a ripe cherry, Bep! Got a swirl pattern in it too! I'll take a photo of it with the cat sitting on in - she likes it too!
Great view out of the window - i love watching the world go by!! Sorry about the computer problems - it's so frustrating isn't it? Hope you get it sorted quickly.
A scone and a cheese roll - doesn't get any better than that! Two of my favorites. Too bad about your computer troubles. They're great when they work well - so frustrating when they don't. Good luck.
Thanks for the laugh as usual! We have no nice luxurious rug on our floor in front of the Aga where it usually goes....the cat peed on it a few months ago & we haven't dare get another in case she got the habit. We had to throw it in the bin....not good when it was quite new.
Interesting place to sit....I am thinking I might sit in these places next year!

@happypat Date scones are usual here, Pat - they have become very popular - John is in heaven! Our cat had better not pee on this one - she would take a flying lesson!
I must say Maggiemae, you are demonstrating a lot more patience than I would every demonstrate. I can only take so much of computer problems before I go out and buy another one.
so did you upload 'cleanmyhouse'? if it was effective, let me know. i am like sick and tired of cleaning, like i've just been doing that my whole life! there, did i manage to give you a headache? i'm expose to that kind of "like" talk all day with the young people in the office, like! :-) i like the view from your coffee shop!
@summerfield Young people are like sheep - follow anyone around. The app 'cleanmyhouse' I learnt was not available to those under 90 years! Have to wait a while!

@dibzgreasley I think this shop got it right - a good name and well designed for the window! Sometimes it so steamy inside that the window is all steamed up! The coffee is hot which is how I like it!
@claireuk You aren't supposed to relax with caffeine, Claire but I think the whole experience is relaxing! A well designed cafe and all sorts of interesting people coming in etc.
I like the view and it looks like a comfortable seating arrangement outside. do they have the same chairs inside. the name of the establishment draws me in as I like my coffee steaming hot. you can use this picture for the weekly theme. theme-fromawindow.

Sorry about the computer woes. I have car woes- the timing belt snapped and who knows when or if we will fix it! Maybe I should just get Ruby's American cousin and ride her around.
