As
blossoms
on the breeze-
rhododendron
scents
life
alive
in the trees,
ripple shaded
green,
wool clouds drift
on blue sky-
summer arrives
soon.

Three good things;
1. Tickets arrived for a Train Trip to come - not “Six Days on the Road” but Six days on the Rails” -that’s on the rails not ‘off the rails’!
2. Our bright pink rhododendrons are attracting bees…. The Bee or the Full Moon is my predicament for the next photo.
T3. he exercise, “planking’ of which (notice the correct grammar) I partake, talks of exercising the 'the rectus adbominis “! Which is why whenever I do this, small unwanted puffs of air make a predominant sound and John says, ‘Are you planking again’?
Pretty pink processing. Love the words too. Your 3rd good thing is so funny and I am impressed you do the planking at all. How exciting a train trip! Enjoy.
@kiwinanna Thanks Liana! I like this activity as it only takes 30 secs and increases your core strength so well. The one you need when you get out of a chair without grunting!
#3 hilarious...you are a person to be avoided whilst planking obviously! This rhododendron looks like it's been pressed into a cube Love the painty effect!
@taffy Its just starting Taffy - coming up to late winter here! And still cold. These flowers came from China (well, not actually mine) and like high altitudes and cool.
They are such pretty and delicate flowers. I have thought about growing them but they are far too thirsty for my garden. Not a good plant to have around during times of water restrictions!
It has been non-stop rain here for days so this photo and accompanying poem are warming and welcome. I love your daily 3 points, so positive and funny especially today's.
Very artsy rendition here- both in word and image. I don't think you could pay me to do planking- but I have been stacking wood this week- also with no pay other than I will be warm this winter.
@maggiemae I do wish I could just leave it in one big heap in the back yard, but it would stay wet and then it would be very hard to burn. So I remember the saying Dixie @pandorasecho quoted a few years ago when I first posted our wood pile: Wood heats you three times- first when you cut it down. Second when you stack it, and third when you burn it.
Your 3 good things are hysterical....always look forward to reading them!! And, your rhododendron is gorgeous and FAVworthy!! I planted two of them this year, but I think our weather is too hot and dry for them....they do not look too happy!!
