Not exactly, as we are in the other hemisphere and it’s September. These are the developing buds of the wisteria that will enchant us in a month or two. Bokeh is a side effect which I do try for when the light is right.
Three good things:
1. My Alumnae magazine arrived which gives hope to future medical and physiological research. Dunedin has one of the best Medical University's in NZ It was hardly due to me who tried to climb into the Medical students accommodation through windows to watch South Africa play rugby! I nearly got discharged or whatever you call it from the University!! In the ’60’s!
2. Final edit from Balboa Press for my manuscript. I’m impressed with their fast communication.
3. A good thing for history but not for 365 - Nobody recognised the wonderful song yesterday as my title, ...” I’ll give you a daisy a day, dear…I’ll love you until the rivers run still, ..and the four winds we know, blow away…!
Oh dear I should have said...I recognised your song straight away! We are of an age you know! Talking of that you were not allowed to do such things as climbing in windows in those days?..I am surprised at you! In the PTA nurses home we had to be in by 10pm & a few times I had to throw stones at the window! A bit different to now a days when my newly enrolled uni student granddaughter is expected to be out on the town every night this week during freshers week, she is already flagging & ready for a night in! As well as that they have three quarter beds in halls...did you ever guess that? How times change!
Nice buds & your bokeh & construction is lovely!
@maggiemae@happypat I thought climbing in through windows was all part of the fun. As was waking up in the middle of the night and find someone halfway through your bedroom window!! Friend or foe?
@beachdog This just doesn't happen every day, Barb! You have to recognise the light in the background. Other people seem to get bokeh artificially but I don't know how!
I find this really stunning and an instant fav. Sounds as if you were a spirited student--though I can think of mother reasons for trying to climb in through the medical students' windows ... :)
Oh how lovely to be looking forward to the wisteria instead of bare trees and short days, although we do have the glory of a colourful autumn to enjoy first!
Nice buds & your bokeh & construction is lovely!
fav
You did watch rugby? Jokes all over here about us loosing!
